Do you want to learn about the book called Freak the mighty? Well if you do than read on and you will find all of the information about this book. The title of the book is Freak the mighty. The author is Roman Philbrick. The story takes place in the summer out in a city. You will see of houses and cars and bird. You will hear a lot of cars birds and people talking. The character I will be writing about is keaven who is imaginary and smart.

This takes place in a urban town during the summer. It is a busy town with babies crying, dogs barking, people talking, and fast cars driving by. Freak The Mighty is composed of two people Max and Kevin who put their strengths together to make one person. Freak The Mighty is a powerful and smart person.

You would hear people talking and. Max the main character is nice to his only friend Kevin. Max is large, fast, strong and growing.
Kevin’s is short, imaginative, smart, intelligent and nice. Max and Kevin have many strengths. Max and kevin are different in many many ways.

Max the main character is nice to his only friend Kevin. Max is large, fast, strong and growing.

ReplyDeleteDo you want to here about this book with a tall guy and a nerd?The author of this book is Rodman Philbrick.The book is called Freak The Mighty!It takes place in the sunny summer and in the city.You will see houses and apartments.You will hear car horns and people talking.I am going to tell you about Max,Max is very very tough and he is tall.Max is tough and huge.One way he is tough is because he can lift kevin up over his head at the fire works so Kevin could see the fire works.Also because he could run really really fast when Tony D was trying to get them.Max is huge because when he has Kevin on his shoulders they are 9 feet tall and kevin is only 2 feet tall so that means that Max is 7 feet tall.Max is so huge people are scared of him.

ReplyDeleteDo you want to read about a freakishly large kid? The tittle of the book I am writing is Freak The Mighty. The author of the book is Rodman Phillbrick. The setting is an urban city in the summer. Some stuff you would see in the setting is a bunch of close house and apartment buildings in the city. You would here a lot of people, cars, sirens, and horns. I am writing about the character Max. Max is a 6 foot kid and lives in the basement of his grim and gram house. Max was a lonely kid. He would sit in the basement all day until Freak moved in. Max is large, tall, heavy, now active, strong, and not very smart. Max has changed a lot over time because he is going out side more often He is not stuck in side all day and he is happy that he has a friend.

ReplyDeletedo you know what the book Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick is about? Well, I will tell you.It is about tow boys in an urban community. Where you would see crime and hear about crime. Max the main character of this story who is seven feet tall. He can be very beastly and very dangerous if he had no choice but to fight. He is not smart. Then Keven (Freak) move next door to max. Kevin can also be dangerous with his crutches. He is like super smart he know ten times more than his eighth grade teacher. He gets on maxwells shoulder and what ever side Kevin kicks is the direction he will run or walk. Kevin has a birth defect in his legs.

You can hear cars going by, you can hear people talking and dogs barking. It is a very good book. I am going to tell you all about Max. Max is a big and tall 8th grade boy who lives with his grandparents. Max is strong and dumb. Max is strong in many ways like he can run with his 3 foot friend on his shoulders. Max is dumb because he needs to use his friend as a resource.

The two characters in the book are Kevin and Max. Kevin is a very small nerdy kid with lots of ideas and he is also very smart. Then Max is a huge six foot tall kid that is very dumb. I know what your thinking a six foot tall kid and a nerd A story about bullying. well thats what i would think to but you’re WRONG very wrong. Kevin and Max are actually very good friends in this story. Max is strong tall scary and dumb. Kevin is short skinny smart and happy. In this story i would give the author an A+ for his good use of imagery.

Do you want to learn about Max, aka the Mighty and how he is strong and and tall?
Then read this totally awesome book Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick. The story takes place in a urban parts of town were people get together having Barbecues moms calling there children and were you can hear birds chirping. Max is strong because he runs around with Freak on his shoulders he is tall because in the book it says , “We are 9 feet tall together” and that freak is shorter than a yard stick so he is two feet tall.

The two main characters in this story are Max and Kevin. Kevin is sort, smart ,and, imaginative. Max is strong ,tall, and ,unintelligent. In this story the problem is that Freak dies in the end of the book. I would give the author an A+ for his use of imagery.
In the story Freak the Mighty I would give the author Rodman Phillbrick an A+ in his use of imagery for many reasons . For example When Tony-D and his goons where chasing Max and Kevin around the park on the night of the Fireworks, I felt like i was standing there watching it happen. And When Max says “I here this zingy sound and I just know that blade is swinging a knife cutting through the air right behind us (37).” .I used this particular part of the story because it amazed me that the author could put so much detain in such a small part of the story.
Another reason I gave the author an A+ on his use of imagery because of all the detail he uses to tell a story. For example when maxi’s father kidnaps him I think I was about as scared as the author made it seem like max was. When Max said “I think iI hear the wind right there in my room except it’s not the wind its some ones breathing (98-99).” WOW my heart still stops just to think about it.
The last reason I gave the author Rodman Phillbrick an A+ on his use of imagery is because I think it is great that he makes it seem like the characters in the book are talking directly to you. For example When max runs out of the basement of the burnt down old tenements with Kevin on his shoulders and crashes through the wooden door landing in the snow and Iggy grabs hold of his shoulder and says “Take it easy kid you’re gonna be okay(132-133).”
those are some of the reasons I gave the author of this story an A+ on his use of imagery.
